About me
At the age of 13 I had my career all planned out. I wanted to be an international marketing executive. But life didn’t work out like that.
My story
After studying German & Spanish at the university of Bristol. I did my MBA at Cranfield School of Management and joined executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles in their London office. Heidrick was fast-growing, entrepreneurial, and a leader in the industry. A great place for me to learn my trade.
After a few years with Heidrick in Germany I moved back to the UK where I led the technology practice for a while and became the “go-to” person for everything to do with the new internet boom.
In the dot-com years Heidrick set up LeadersOnline as our dot-come business and I was invited to build a business in Europe from scratch. That business not only contributed significantly to the European revenues for Heidrick & Struggles, but also leveraged faster, better and smarter ways of working. Since then I continue to challenge the old ways of working in the three businesses that I’ve co-founded:
2000
Founder / VP
LeadersOnline Europe
2012
Co-Founder
Archer Mann
2014
Co-Founder
NotActivelyLooking
2022
Co-Founder

Late-stage career change doesn’t need to be frustrating
Changing jobs gets harder as we progress in our careers. For CEOs and senior executives used to making things happen, this can be immensely frustrating.
Senior executives want to find a role that is rewarding and fulfilling. The longer it takes to find that ideal role, the more frustrating and demoralising it becomes. The techniques that were valid ten or twenty years ago no longer work.
Frantically sending out CVs and adding buzzwords to the LinkedIn profile is not going to help. This risks damaging your brand and alienating your network. In the end it simply adds to your frustration.
There is another way, one that is built on a solid and credible personal brand, and a focused strategy to activate and expand your network. The more people who have a clear idea of your ideal role and what you have to offer, the more likely you are to unearth suitable opportunities.
We have a process and a methodology that will help you to manage this next stage in your work life journey. It starts with rediscovering your purpose, re-setting your narrative, and re-engaging your network.
Don’t wait for something to come along. Manage your own career. Book a call now to find out how I can help you.

“What helped was joining the dots. Anthony helped me to get my story straight, put it out in a unified manner across various platforms, and that then gave me the direction and focus to get the story out there.”

Our service is built around three core elements:
Exploring career options and helping you to build clarity around your ideal role, what this could be, and how it fits with your professional experience & personal goals.
Developing a personal brand that is clear, compelling and memorable, including your verbal narrative, CV, LinkedIn profile and personal website (where appropriate).
Mastering the art of career networking as a tool to help you uncover opportunities that would otherwise remain hidden.

I start with a different approach.
For most people, the old way of just sending out CVs to headhunters and applying for jobs just doesn't work.
There's a better way of doing this. One that is more focused and more likely to get results.
My approach is based on developing a career goal that suits you at this stage in your career, building a strong and effective personal brand that neatly summarises who you are and what you represent, and learning how to uncover new opportunities by building and leveraging a stronger personal network.
I believe in you. As your coach my job is to help you develop the skills that you need in order to succeed, to encourage and motivate you, and to give you the confidence that you can achieve your goals. These skills will stand you in good stead for many years to come.
Above all I care. Your success matters to me. I won't give up and I will do everything I can to support you in this journey.
